Biennale of Sydney

Focus:

• Managed the strategic planning, development and delivery of the Biennale of Sydney
• Managed delivery across five sites as well as a team of specialist staff in consultation with the Artistic Director
• Developed procedures, reports and controls to develop and deliver the exhibition
• Planning, scheduling, coordination of internal and external service providers engaged in all phases of the exhibition’s conceptual development, physical delivery and post opening rectification.
• Effective communication and financial management and project record keeping, ranging from efficient meeting management and record keeping to the preparation financial reports, technical and other documents such as jobs specifications, formal licenses and written agreements with external providers.

Achievements:

• Critically acclaimed 12^th Biennale of Sydney 2000 delivering 48 artists from 23 countries across multiple venues and satellite events – Nick Waterlow, Artistic Director
• Critically acclaimed 13^th Biennale of Sydney (The World May be) Fantastic 2002 delivering 56 artists from 22 countries across multiple venues and satellite events – Richard Grayson, Artistic Director
• New records for attendance
• Successful negotiation of loan and exhibition logistics.
